Happy New and let the blogging begin

First of all - Happy New Year everyone!

Now onto blogging!

I've never really blogged, so this is all new to me. Thanks to an online friend! Hey Jody!

I'm hoping this will be a great way for me to vent. Since I have so much I hold inside and throughout the day. Being a fulltime caregiver for someone with alzheimers is not an easy task, especially when they try to get you all upset. Somedays are good, somedays are beyond horrible.
So if I complain about my MIL (mother inlaw) please know that I love her, but nothing is ever easy with her.

Ok, today.....today was ok I guess.

The normal, since school is out my teenager wanted to sleep all day. But since I've spent all week waiting on the MIL to get up and do what she needed or just wanted to do, I got him up at 8 am. I had errands I needed to run.

First we went to the post office, then to pick up my check, and then to the bank. We dropped movies off and then hit Goodwill, I was in no hurry to get back home.

We got home about 11 am, the MIL was just getting up. The rest of the day was pretty much laundry and picking up after her. Until the hubby got home and I made him run to Wally World with me, he hates Walmart by the way, so dragging him along was no easy task. Of course he prolonged it as long as possible, hoping I'd do without him. NO such luck. I waited while he fed the cows and then made him change and go anyway.

Then we came home to normalsville where he laid on the couch and read the paper while I fixed dinner and the MIL laid on the other side of the couch hoping I'd noticed she did her laundry and left it scattered about my livingroom. Also very normal for her.

So after dinner, since hubby bought me my favorite wine for New Year's I opened it up. He went to the bedroom for his evening snore fest and MIL went to her room to pout. Now the teenager is on the couch playing with the remote waiting for me to go to bed and I'm taking my time drinking my wine and doing something new. That's right, blogging it all out.

Ok, I'm done. Hope I didn't bore you too much!
